Later, it emerges that her phone had been il­le­gally tapped by re­porters. As she tries to patch up her rep­u­ta­tion and re­vive her dig­nity, she’s in­ter­viewed by ABC jour­nal­ist Mark Colvin all the way from Aus­tralia, and his story gives Field a new per­spec­tive.
