Guo Jian Game Changer: Oliver Stone Oliver Stone is the lauded Acad­emy Award-win­ning fig­ure who has writ­ten and di­rected more than 20 fea­ture films, in­clud­ing Scar­face, Nat­u­ral Born Killers, Nixon, JFK, Pla­toon and The Doors. Stone’s most re­cent films pre­sent a re­al­is­tic and truth­ful pre­sen­ta­tion of the world. As part of Vivid Ideas, Oliver Stone will be shar­ing his phi­los­o­phy on telling dif­fi­cult sto­ries, nav­i­gat­ing con­tro­versy and re­sis­tance, and dis­cussing how his take on the in­ter­play be­tween writer, sto­ry­teller and direc­tor has so­lid­i­fied his place in cin­e­matic his­tory.
