A shape of thought Sydney sculptor Mikala Dwyer transforms architectural spaces in unique and unexpected ways, often referencing shelter, child’s play, modernist design and the relationships between people and objects. For A shape of thought, Dwyer incorporates the everyday and the fabulous by floating 150 balloons above AGNSW’s Contemporary Gallery floor, installing fabric shapes suspended aloft by stockings and the construction of large circular structures made from materials such as crystal-like Perspex. Art Gallery of NSW, Art Gallery Road, Sydney. Opens today. Inquiries: (02) 9225 1700 or online. Wildeorness Land Wildeorness Land
