Until October 28. 4:48 Psychosis Anthony Skuse’s production of Sarah Kane’s often harrowing text is performed on a stage made open and bleak by two large mirrored walls that make the space seem to stretch into infinity. The voice is Kane’s and it is that of a woman so sunk into an angry, self-loathing depression all she can think of is escape from a world that she finds impossible to bear. Kane’s script does not assign lines to characters. Skuse divides it among three women: Lucy Heffernan, Ella Prince and Zoe Trilsbach-Harrison. Old Fitzroy Theatre, 129 Dowling Street, Sydney. Final performance tonight, 6.30pm. Tickets: $42. Bookings: (02) 9356 3848 or online.
