It has the most amazing range of culinary equipment and I could spend days there. ICEBREAKER; RODD & GUNN; ARMANI Having spent most of my adult life in a chef’s uniform, I don’t really have time or a great need for wardrobe shopping. Most of my clothes tend to be functional, and my particular favourites are the Icebreaker range from New Zealand, Rodd & Gunn and Armani.; www.roddand; www.giorgioar ANDROUET; A LA MERE DE FAMILLE; MOULIN DE LA VIERGE, PARIS I love food shops and markets and the French do them best, particularly shops in Paris such as Androuet (cheese), A la Mere de Famille (everything from candied chestnuts and chocolates to thrushes and sea urchins), and Moulin de la Vierge (bread).; www.lamerede; www.lemoulin INTERNATIONAL RESTAURANTS For fine dining: Philippe Rochat, Crissier, Switzerland; Chinese: Lai Chi Hing, Hong Kong; Thai: Four Seasons, Chiang Mai; bistro: L’Ami Louis, Paris; Japanese: Kikunoi Restaurant, Kyoto; pizza: Walliser Kanne, Zermatt, Switzerland; seafood: East Coast Jumbo Seafood, Singapore.
