Headhunting good for ego, too
HEADHUNTING in the labour market jungle is a reality, with 46 per cent of Australians in a survey revealing it has happened to them.
More than three out of four Australians would like to be headhunted, the survey by linkme.com.au says.
‘‘ Networking is a major part of being headhunted,’’ says LinkMe chief executive Campbell Sallabank. ‘‘ If people don’t know who you are or what you have to offer, they won’t approach you. Being headhunted is not only good for your pay packet, it also makes you feel great.’’
