GLEN­MORANGIE Sin­gle High­land Malt Scotch Whisky dis­tillery, a revered 164-year-old Scot­tish in­sti­tu­tion in West Loth­ian, has given birth to a new range.

The orig­i­nal (10-year-old) whisky has been re­named, with true High­land logic, Glen­morangie Orig­i­nal and re­sides in an el­e­gant new bot­tle.

And the added ex­tra-ma­tured range comes in three ver­sions: Glen­morangie Las­anta (ma­tured in Span­ish oloroso sherry casks), Glen­morangie Quinta Ruban (ma­tured in Por­tuguese port pipes) and Glen­morangie Nec­tar D’Or (ma­tured in French sauternes wine bar­riques, with key flavour notes of lemon and syrup). All have at least 10 years of ini­tial mat­u­ra­tion in exbour­bon casks, then the ex­tra­ma­tured whiskies are fur­ther fin­ished in their spe­cially se­lected wine bar­rels. Avail­able now, for $80, $85 and $95 re­spec­tively. Glen­morangie Orig­i­nal sells for $70, Glen­morangie 18-year-old for $180 and, to re­ally spoil your­self, 25-yearold is a mere $450.
