SPOILS CELEBRITY PASTA TAKES A TWIRL
BARILLA pasta has long been on Australian shopping lists. This year, the Italian pasta producer is 130 years old and, to celebrate, has launched the Barilla Celebrity Pasta Lovers’ Cookbook, a free online collection of well-known Australians’ favourite pasta recipes.
There are recipes from top chefs (including Guy Grossi, Tobie Puttock, Giovanni Pilu) and well-known food names (Joanna Savill), as well as from singers, actors and designers, and a special Barilla family recipe.
For each cookbook download, Barilla will donate $1 (up to $20,000) to the Children’s Food Education Foundation in Australia to develop resources to help children gain skills and understanding about good food, its history, traditions and origins. It’s a great cause.
Barilla pasta and sauces are on sale at Coles and Woolworths stores nationally, independent supermarkets and selected food stores. Judith Elen
