ON­board Queen Mary 2, the grand dame of Cu­nard’s roy­althemed fleet, a meal at the Todd English fine-din­ing restau­rant is an in­dul­gent treat.

At $US30 ($28) a head it’s much cheaper than an equiv­a­lent meal ashore, but it does feel rather flash to be spend­ing a sur­charge to live it up in this elab­o­rately dec­o­rated space when food (and lots of it) is, af­ter all, in­cluded in your fare.
