GREAT CRUISE ESCAPES
FISHY BUSINESS: As part of its 150th anniversary year of specials and innovations, Princess Cruises has announced the launch, in May, of a series of onboard offerings dubbed North to Alaska! Designed for passengers on the line’s Alaskan cruises, the happenings include Eat Like A Local, a partnership with the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute to feature regional delicacies such as king salmon, halibut and king crab, and signature dishes from local joints, including crab cakes from Tracy’s King Crab Shack in Juneau and fish tacos from Ketchikan’s Alaska Fish House. Bring on repeats of The Deadliest Catch on the in-cabin telly channels, we say. More: princess.com/NorthToAlaska.
