Aqua Expeditions has expanded its range of adventure tours to mark the first anniversary of Aqua Mekong’s cruises between Vietnam and Cambodia. Aqua Mekong is the only vessel on the Mekong River to operate private tenders (a fleet of four launch boats) to take passengers on excursions ashore. There are also kayaks and all-terrain touring bikes available for independent sightseeing. APT has announced RV AmaLotus will undergo a major refurbishment in readiness to set sail, with exclusive use by APT, from the middle of next year. The newly designed vessel will feature 54 balcony suites; top-tier Sadec Suites include silver butler service and other extras. Luke Nguyen will be involved in some of the menu design aboard the ship, which offers three dining locations. Private dining at the 16seater Indochine by Luke Nguyen restaurant, which offers degustation dinners, is among the enhancements.
