Aqua Ex­pe­di­tions has ex­panded its range of ad­ven­ture tours to mark the first an­niver­sary of Aqua Mekong’s cruises be­tween Viet­nam and Cam­bo­dia. Aqua Mekong is the only ves­sel on the Mekong River to op­er­ate pri­vate ten­ders (a fleet of four launch boats) to take pas­sen­gers on ex­cur­sions ashore. There are also kayaks and all-ter­rain tour­ing bikes avail­able for in­de­pen­dent sight­see­ing. APT has an­nounced RV AmaLo­tus will un­dergo a ma­jor re­fur­bish­ment in readi­ness to set sail, with ex­clu­sive use by APT, from the mid­dle of next year. The newly de­signed ves­sel will fea­ture 54 bal­cony suites; top-tier Sadec Suites in­clude sil­ver but­ler ser­vice and other ex­tras. Luke Nguyen will be in­volved in some of the menu de­sign aboard the ship, which of­fers three din­ing lo­ca­tions. Pri­vate din­ing at the 16seater In­do­chine by Luke Nguyen restau­rant, which of­fers de­gus­ta­tion din­ners, is among the en­hance­ments.
