Eti­had Air­ways has an­nounced the grad­u­a­tion of its 2000th Fly­ing Nanny crew mem­ber since its in­flight child­care con­cept was launched in 2013; the nan­nies are trained by Bri­tish-based Nor­land, a higher ed­u­ca­tion col­lege spe­cial­is­ing in early-years ed­u­ca­tion; last year the Abu Dhabi-based air­line in­tro­duced a re­vamped Fly­ing Nanny Kit of items such as origami, magic tricks and face-paint­ing • Book by April 13 for se­lected 2017 China hol­i­days from Wendy Wu Tours and up­grade on China South­ern flights to busi­ness-class for an ad­di­tional $99 one-way or $599 re­turn • The 52ha Coolen­del bush­land site, by the Shoal­haven River on the NSW south coast, will host a pop-up Flash Camp site from April 7-25; the stan­dard Bell Tents start at $110 a night mid­week, and pre­mium Flash Tents from $160, but higher rates ap­ply at week­ends for both styles plus three-night min­i­mum stays over Easter.
