The latest col­lab­o­ra­tion be­tween Qan­tas and Aus­tralian scarf and fashion de­sign­ers Bird & Knoll has been re­leased in time for the sum­mer sea­son. The Sunny Days blended sturdy cot­ton and linen sarong, in marine blues, creams and moody greens, and edged on two sides with black-and-white tas­sels, features a de­pic­tion of White­haven Beach in the Queens­land Whit­sun­days based on the win­ning im­age in a re­cent In­sta­gram con­test in­spired by the air­line’s key hol­i­day des­ti­na­tions. It’s the third con­sec­u­tive year Bird & Knoll has worked on trav­el­re­lated fashion items for Qan­tas, which has also re­cently added T & I’s go-to travel wrap brand, Ev­ery­day Cash­mere, to its on­line shop, in­clud­ing snug Jet Set scarfs, trans-sea­sonal pon­chos and rev­ersible shawls in a broad range of colours, tex­tures and trims. The Sunny Days sarong is $152. Fre­quent Flyer mem­bers can use points for pur­chases on­line, in­clud­ing a wide se­lec­tion of Sam­sonite cabin and check-in luggage and Ap­ple and Sam­sung prod­ucts.
