An ac­tion-packed new show of ac­ro­bat­ics, won­der, comic mis­ad­ven­tures and cir­cus. Ex­pect a show the whole fam­ily will en­joy. Cairns fu­ture cir­cus stars from Cy­cas Cir­cus will per­form Cirque de Couleurs as well as a range of rov­ing per­for­mances from 5pm, with the main show to start at 7pm. There will be mar­ket stalls, mu­sic, food, a kids fes­ti­val, buskers and more. Lim­ber­lost hosts a free and in­for­ma­tive work­shop on grow­ing av­o­ca­does. Sun­day, Septem­ber er 3, 3pm, Fresh­wa­ter. er. The cham­pi­onships will fea­ture around 300 rid­ers from 35 coun­tries in Cross Coun­try Olympic and Down­hill. The re­gion will come alive thanks to this event, from Septem­ber 5-11, at Smith­field Regional Park. Fi­nal chance to see Cairns artist Brad Cong­don’s works at the DFO art gallery. On dis­play are oil paints in land­scapes and por­traits.
