EXPERIENCE PRACTICAL AND COMFORTABLE LIVING SOLUTIONS AT UNISON HOMES
ANEW approach to living in the tropics was the design brief given to the architect of Unison Homes three display homes at Argentea.
Greg Tate of Unison Homes said he believed they had delivered a freshness that incorporated all that was required for tropical living but with a contemporary twist.
“Architecture in north Queensland has been dominated in recent times by inflfluences of the Balinese or colonial style,’’ he said.
“We believe that the sophisticated and savvy home buyer or investors are looking for more than just the repetitive traditional styles.
“The designs provided at the Argentea Design Centre provide a new fresh approach and appeal. Our designs invite people to experience practical and comfortable living solutions for a tropical climate.’’
Mr Tate said interior design was also an important function of living in the 21st century and should work in harmony with the architecture.
“Cool, comfortable and very practical are the key elements that Victoria Ciddor Designs has implemented throughout the interiors of these spectacular designs,’’ he said.
“The three homes showcased have common design features, offering flflexibility of design in a pavilion style, with a contemporary modern twist.’’
All incorporate a central breezeway that acts as a natural airconditioner to cool the homes, high ceilings, high quality fifixtures and fifittings, interconnecting decks and walkways are also features of the homes.
The breezeway also acts functionally as the main circulation hub for the home, providing a sheltered, secure but open connection between all of the spaces.
“Unison Homes offers as standard architect designed homes to potential clients and this refreshing approach ensures they receive a home that is uniquely designed for their position, lifestyle and budget,’’ Mr Tate said.
“Homes from Unison are not just a roof over your head they simply need to work in balance with the environment, future needs and budget constraints,’’ he said.
