The Snakes went on a 13-0 run late in the third to be just seven down at one stage but the deficit quickly skipped back out to double figures.

Wildcats imports Bryce Cotton and Casey Prather had their way with the Snakes guards as they danced past Travis Trice and the rest with ease.

Trice led the Snakes’ scorers with 15 but his opposite number, Cotton, was the winners’ driving force. Cotton and Prather shared in 56 points.

In two trips to Perth this season, the Taipans have lost on both occasions.
