“This year saw the com­pany en­ter into the non-sky­div­ing ad­ven­ture ex­pe­ri­ence mar­ket for the first time with its ac­qui­si­tions of Rag­ing Thun­der Ad­ven­tures and Reef Magic Cruises.

“These ac­qui­si­tions have po­si­tioned the com­pany to in­crease cus­tomers in the ad­ven­ture ex­pe­ri­ence mar­ket, and to ex­pand fur­ther into the ad­ven­ture tourism mar­ket in Aus­tralia and over­seas.”

Lo­cal tourism in­dus­try vet­eran Steve O’Mal­ley was re­cently ap­pointed to over­see the com­pany’s Far North op­er­a­tions, which are cur­rently be­ing merged into the same Cairns head­quar­ters.

“We are re­ally proud to fin­ish what is only our sec­ond full fi­nan­cial year as an ASX-listed com­pany with the re­sults we have an­nounced,” said Sky­dive the Beach chief ex­ec­u­tive An­thony Rit­ter.

“We look for­ward to see­ing what FY18 and beyond will bring Sky­dive the Beach.”

Shares in the com­pany were yes­ter­day trad­ing for about 61 cents each.

FRESH EX­PE­RI­ENCE: Sky­dive the Beach will change its name.
