Google sued for pay gap
GOOGLE is facing a new lawsuit accusing it of genderbased pay discrimination.
A lawyer representing three female former Google employees is seeking class action status for the claim.
The suit follows a federal labour investigation finding systemic pay discrimination among the 21,000 employees at Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, California.
The review found women earned less than men in nearly all job classifications.
Google disputed the result findings and said its analysis showed no gender pay gap.
