The Weekend Post - - Lifestyle -

IT can be difficult to find activities to fill the school holidays with. But if your children have a creative streak, or they would be keen to try something new, this workshop on bunting might be a good option. The popular art form involves laying down textiles to add colour and texture to items. Suitable for children aged eight years and over, the 90-minute class will be held at the Craft n Sewing Studio at the Pease St shopping centre at Manoora on September 29. It will run from 2.30-4pm. Students will be about to keep whatever they make and it is suitable for children of various abilities. The class is designed for the children to be able to collaborate with their ideas. As well it will be a chance to make new friends. Classes are hands-on with step-by-step instructions.
