Test of depth looms

BARRON will be looking for their first win of the Cricket Far North first grade one-day season this weekend. Depth will be tested throughout the grades as the majority of clubs are missing players away with the CFN Fusion for the Bulls Masters T20 carnival in Mackay, which started last night. Barron will face a Mulgrave side missing Jake Roach, Justin Reid, Blake Raper and Marcus McGregor-Cassady and need to adapt quickly to a testing Minniecon Gregory Oval pitch this afternoon. Old rivals North and Atherton, missing two and three representative players respectively, face off at Griffiths Park 1. Rovers will look to remain unbeaten when they take on United at Griffiths Park 2.
