The Weekend Post - - News -

I moved to Australia from India four years ago. I spent two years in Brisbane and then I moved to Cairns. I’ve been here for two years completing my Masters of Marketing at James Cook University. I learnt English watching cricket back in India. Cairns is pretty welcoming and the mindset of everyone is very multicultural so you can fit in easily. I play cricket for Rovers which I enjoy and I was in the Cairns Post once when I was photographed playing cricket. Fishing is not really an interest of mine but I love walks on the Esplanade and I love the Green Island reef. I have been jetskiing and parasailing. I like the adventure activities here. You have to do that to try and be an Australian.
