EXCITING TIMES AHEAD
Q AStephen, you are off to a new job. Tell me about it and how it all came about?
I am really excited to get down to the University of Wollongong to work through their medical and exercise science department. We will be running a Masters of strength and conditioning and the graduate certificate of that is going to be one of the only ones that are offered by distance and online. Those students will then transition into a Masters, which will be blended. University of Wollongong have been really upfront about wanting to be very competitive in the market. I am looking forward to getting stuck in, designing the program and getting it running, creating industry links and seeing what response we get. The course is really attractive to me. It bridges fitness certificates to people who want to go to University. It offers people an opportunity to do that while they are still working. It also lends itself to strength and conditioning coaches who are also working full-time in the field that upskill their qualifications. I am looking forward to starting my next chapter.
