On the road with Sleep Therapist, Jaimie Clarkson
Our sleep apnoea services will be available monthly at Warracknabeal Pharmacy beginning February 16.
Sleep therapist Jaimie Clarkson said the most fulfilling part of her job was the time spent with customers in need of assistance.
“When I first meet someone, they are meeting all the demands of modern life and are more exhausted than many of us can even imagine,” she said.
“I get to spend six weeks with them watching their health, vitality and wellbeing improve, often in surprising ways. “I’m always amazed at how far reaching this simple treatment can be, and how interconnected every facet of our lives are with good quality sleep.
“Usually people are quite dubious about wearing a mask to Holy Trinity Lutheran School.
This is the first time Tyler is presenting outside of an Australian capital city! Part of his Longevity Tour, Tyler is a holistic nutritionist and will give tips about essentials to improving your health. Cost: $45. Email tylertoman.com to book. bed, so it’s also rewarding seeing how they surprise themselves with how quickly they adapt, and how much difference it makes for them.”
Des Lardner’s Organic proprietor Des Lardner has always describe himself as a health professional for small towns.
“It shouldn’t matter where we live, everyone is entitled to the best possible health care and we are in a position to now offer this mobile service through our pharmacy facilities,” he said.
“We offer a five day service in Horsham and have sufficient and skilled staff to now extend to other areas.
“Jaimie has been with the service for a number of years, is highly skilled and has a strong relationship with respiratory physicians in the region.”
Retail manager Georgina Powell said she welcomed the service.
“This partnership allows us to have an accredited service that isn’t being offered,” she said.
The service will be able to complete home sleep studies providing there is a doctor’s referral, and appointments for check-ups or to purchase a machine. Customers are encouraged to collect an information pack from the pharmacy or call Warracknabeal Pharmacy on 5394 1300 to book an appointment.
