A Minyip Show and Shine event on Sun­day will raise money for Royal Fly­ing Doc­tor ser­vices.

The Free­dom Rid­ers event will have a va­ri­ety of com­pe­ti­tion cat­e­gories with more than $1000 in cash tro­phies and prizes up for grabs.

There will be best-in-show, best-club, best-vin­tage, best-bike and best-mod­i­fied cat­e­gories and a peo­ple’s choice award.

Peo­ple with ve­hi­cles for the show need to en­ter by 9am.

Judg­ing will be from 10am and a pre­sen­ta­tion at 11am.

The show and shine is de­signed as a fam­ily-friendly event with a jump­ing cas­tle, slide and face-paint­ing for chil­dren, as well as a Fly­ing Doc­tors sim­u­la­tor, vin­tage ma­chin­ery, car-boot sale, buskers and other at­trac­tions.

There will also be a mini mar­ket to sup­port the fight against ovar­ian can­cer fea­tur­ing about 30 stalls be­tween 11am and 2pm.

Satur­day night en­ter­tain­ment will in­clude live mu­sic be­hind Emma’s Café and ac­com­mo­da­tion is also avail­able.
