Aperformer considered Nitro Circus’ biggest joker will be among a contingent of international daredevils to converge on the Wimmera at Easter.
Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams will be part of Nitro Circus Live at Horsham City Oval on Easter Sunday.
Williams opened the throttle on a 50cc mini for the first time at the age of five and was hooked for life.
He first hit the global action sports stage in 2016 with a third-place X Games performance.
In 2009, Williams staked his claim as one of the best riders in the world, becoming the first non-american to win a gold medal in freestyle.
He also took home silver for best trick.
Williams, who hails from Baxter on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, is set to tour his home country during Nitro Circus Live’s Regional Rampage Tour.
The tour starts in New South Wales next month.
Horsham will host Nitro Circus Live on April 16, with shows at Shepparton and Bendigo to complete the Victorian leg.
Williams has been part of the Nitro team from the beginning, as it sold out stadiums across Australia in 2010.
He told Transworld Motocross the Nitro Circus offered him a great opportunity to travel the globe with some of his best mates.
“We definitely have some mad times,” he said.
“The whole crew is amazing. We help each other out and push each other all the time.”
The only thing Williams likes more than having a good time and being the life of the party is catching some serious air on his bike and landing some unbelievable tricks.
His world firsts include the cliffhanger flip, the ruler flip, 360 heel clicker and the Flying Dutchman.
Williams said he enjoyed the fun and camaraderie of performing in Nitro Circus Live as much as the thrill of competition. “I’ve always been an idiot for the entertainment of others, now I get paid to do it,” he said.
He said his proudest moments with Nitro included performing in 100 shows and his end of 2014 tour video.
Despite his colourful irreverence and exuberant exterior, Williams is a dedicated athlete – with scars from countless injuries to prove it.
He is a favourite among both fans and fellow riders.
