Money for events

The State Government has unlocked the latest round of FREEZA grants to give young people in western Victoria the chance to design and host their own youth-oriented events.

Labor Member for Western Victoria Jaala Pulford said grants of up to $73,500 were available for the programs.

All events are drug, alcohol and smokefree and aimed at creating an opportunity for young people to come together and learn new skills in staging events.

“FREEZA has been creating opportunities for young Victorians for more than two decades and creating some of the best events for young people we’ve seen,” Ms Pulford said.

People can visit youthcentral.vic.gov.au/getinvolved to apply by June 15.
