Arthur/Martha soldiers?

The West Australian - - AGENDA -

Nothing in this country appears to be immune from insanity.

“Any ADF candidate with gender dysphoria is assessed by Defence Force-Recruiting on an individual basis, against the inherent requirements of service and in accordance with the Defence Health Manual,” the Australian Defence Force advice says.

So taxpayers are funding to the tune of more than $1 million for surgical conversion of defence force Arthurs who would rather be Marthas.

Really, how can the taxpayer be responsible for a soldier’s gender-change surgery? And surely any potential recruits with such extreme mental issues have no place in the ADF. John Bandy, Scarborough
