The West Australian - - INSIDE COVER -

The Pedestrian Council of Australia has used National Walk Safely to School Day to call on State governments including WA to follow in NSW’s legislative footsteps and increase monetary and demerit point penalties for drivers who commit offences in school zones.

Walking your kids to school has demonstrated health and social benefits, so we reckon cracking down on dodgy drivers is a great way to get more families doing it.
