Construction and hospitality workers were unharmed when part of a building collapsed in Fremantle yesterday.
A Bannister Street building being renovated had three structural collapses yesterday morning. Nearby workers said at least two people ran from the heritage-listed building after a loud crack about 9.30am. There were two more collapses at 10.30am and 10.40am. It is understood the floor and a wall was damaged.
Phillip Arnold owns Stable Hands restaurant next door. He said his business had cracks in a wall and would be closed until deemed safe. Claire Tyrrell
