THE Steve Murray Perpetual Cricket Shield will be held tomorrow in Mitchell. There will be a bar and barbecue on offer on the day and plenty of cricket action.

THE Roma QAS Local Ambulance Committee will host a charity bowls day tomorrow.
Make up a team, join in the fun and support the local ambulance team as they fight for the win.
There will be four people to a team and if you don’t have a team you will be allocated one.

Motor club meeting
THE Roma Historical Motor Club will host its October meeting at Yuleba on Sunday.
Club members will discuss upcoming events such as the Australia’s Grande Country Carnivale, the annual Motorbike Christmas Run and the Roma State College formal. There will also be a morning tea served from 10am.
WOMEN are invited to the WAGs Expo in Surat on Sunday.
The day will celebrate the International Rural Women’s Day and will showcase rural women in small business.
Helen Everingham will be the guest speaker at the event and there will be a fashion parade by Gretel Lane.
There will be heaps of stalls to browse, high tea and a bar. Tickets are $20 and available for pre purchase only at the Surat Library. Tickets include entry, gourmet high tea and a gift bag for the first 100 tickets sold.
