Motocross club says farewell to 2017
Winners crowned at meet
The Roma District Motorcycle Club held their last event of 2017 at the weekend, with riders from all over the region showing exactly what they were made of at the motocross track.
Saturday was a practice day for all riders with a presentation that followed later that afternoon.
Riders and spectators were then treated to a free barbecue dinner with a full canteen provided.
For Saturday’s practice day, conditions were perfect for motocross and riders were keen to show their skills.
The 2017 Club Champion for Roma was a tie between Darby Fisher and Dusty Clem, with both riders showing full commitment.
Following the event, winners proudly showed off their trophies, a fair reward for strong performances and their dedication over the year.
With extensive track changes and upgrades due in 2018, next season is shaping up to be an exciting one for the club.
The club thanked all the sponsors and volunteers that had worked hard throughout the season to make it a memorable year.
