Talks on future
A RESIDENT is calling all parties interested in discussing the council’s draft Maranoa Business and Industry Strategy to attend one of a series of meetings with their ideas. In an open letter to The Western Star,
Steve Merrick discussed the issues surrounding plans to approve permanent work camps in the area. Mr Merrick is urging all business owners to attend one of the following meetings, stating that the opinions of the business community are vital to the future economic direction of Roma. A meeting is running today from 9.30am–1.30pm at Explorers Inn, Leichhardt Room, and next Monday, November 20, from 4.30–7.30pm at the Explorers Inn function centre.
