Remembrance Day service
RSL Roma Sub-Branch will hold the Armistice Centenary commemoration at the Roma Cenotaph on Sunday. This will be followed by the unveiling of a restored World War I war trophy German mortar at the RSL Hall.
A lunch will be provided and the event is free. WHERE: Roma Cenotaph. WHEN: Sunday, 10.30am arrival for 10.45am start.
Muckadilla Remembrance Day
MARANOA Regional Council invites all to attend a complimentary morning tea in the Muckadilla Community Hall from 9.30–10am.
The Remembrance Day service and dedication of the Harry Murray VC Wall will begin at 11am, recognising all the Muckadilla servicemen and women.
After the service, a luncheon in the Muckadilla Community Hall will be available for purchase. WHERE: Muckadilla Community Hall.

Cricket season kicks off
THE men’s 40-over fixtures will begin this weekend.
Mitchell will take on Souths on Saturday at Mitchell from 4pm.
On Sunday Injune and Leprechauns will go head to head from 10am at Injune.
Wallumbilla has a bye this round.

Dance wEST03 annual concert
DANCE wEST03 will present its 15th annual concert This
is Me on November 9 and 10, from 7pm onwards at the Roma Cultural Centre.
It will be a variety show filled with dance, an adaptation of The Greatest
Showman and some of the finest youth talent in Roma.
Tickets are available at Kimlins Camping World or online at Yapsody.

Roma Swimming Club Carnival
THE Roma and District “All Stars” Open Swimming Carnival is on this Saturday, starting at 9am sharp. Gates open at 8am and warm-ups will be from 8.15–8.45am.
All events will be seeded into heats on nominated times. Medals will be awarded to the first three placings in all events for individual age groups. Seven years and under will receive a participation medal and trophies will be awarded to age champions in eight years and over.
