You’ll en­joy ac­com­mo­da­tion, home-cooked food and guid­ing at one of our favourite des­ti­na­tions, hosted by world renowned wildlife ex­perts.

Itin­er­ary:

Day 1 You’ll start your jour­ney in Cairns where you’ll take a ferry to Green Is­land for the spec­tac­u­lar ’Seawalker’ ex­pe­ri­ence. You don’t need to be a diver, just put on the hel­met and their ex­perts will walk with you un­der­wa­ter among colour­ful coral bom­mies and shoals of trop­i­cal fish. En­joy a buffet lunch and a glass-bot­tom boat tour be­fore an af­ter­noon of snorkelling.

Day 2-3 Af­ter a night in Cairns you will start your fully-guided tour of the beau­ti­ful Ather­ton Tablelands, where the moun­tain air is re­fresh­ingly cool and the hills are cloaked by lush trop­i­cal rain­for­est. You’ll stay at Cas­sowary House, where you can meet res­i­dent Cas­sowary ’Missy’ and see Vic­to­ria’s Ri­flebird - one of Aus­tralia’s ir­rides­cent birds of par­adise. An ex­pert guide will take you to the Table­land’s fa­mous land­marks to look for platy­pus and hand-feed rock wal­la­bies at Ma­reeba.

Day 4 On the fi­nal day, af­ter a su­perb breakfast plat­ter, you’ll catch the Ku­randa scenic train back to Cairns for your jour­ney home.
