A safe bet

On­line bet­ting brands can reach pun­ters with dig­i­tal news­pa­per ad­ver­tis­ing.

Two in three pun­ters who placed a bet on­line last month read dig­i­tal news­pa­per con­tent over the same pe­riod.

Some 57 per cent of pun­ters used a com­puter to ac­cess news­pa­per con­tent, with one in three read­ing on their smart­phone or tablet.

Tat­ter­sall’s on­line is the most pop­u­lar bet­ting site among dig­i­tal news­pa­per au­di­ence, with 1.3 mil­lion read­ers in the past month. This is well ahead of Sports­bet, the se­cond most vis­ited site, which at­tracted 581,000 read­ers.
