The Grossisos have always had a strong handle on wines, and Arlechin doubles as a central cellar to all the Grossi venues. You’ve got your pick from the master wine list; try a Sutton Grange fiano (a local expression of an Italian white) next to the more nerdy 500ml biodynamic, skin contact, sulphur-free Radikon ‘Jakot’ fromm Friuli. Cocktails play a strong game here, as Joe Jones has put together a cocktail program that not only plays to the classics but features lesser-known tipples that highlight spirits from or inspired by Italy. The Jungle Bird is a cheerful introduction too thet bitterness of Campari, combining it with rum, pineapple juice and lime.
