The cu­ra­tor of the 20th Bi­en­nale of Syd­ney…

Grew up In Mu­nich. Her par­ents were Doc­tors, but ex­posed her (and her sib­lings) to quite a bit of art grow­ing up. She be­came a cu­ra­tor Hav­ing stud­ied art his­tory, and worked in a gallery. She’s par­ent to A baby boy. The last theatre piece she saw was Woyzeck dur­ing Syd­ney Fes­ti­val. The last theatre piece she loved was Xavier Le Roy’s ‘Tem­po­rary Ti­tle’, at Car­riage­works. The last book she read was Jean Bau­drillard’s Why Hasn’t Ev­ery­thing Al­ready Dis­ap­peared? Next on her read­ing list is Ur­sula K Le Guin’s The Dis­pos­sessed. She’s cur­rently lis­ten­ing to Hariprasad Chaura­sia, In­dian clas­si­cal flautist.
