Citroens are getting comfy again

Body roll is back in fashion, and we couldn’t be more pleased...

Top Gear (UK) - - THE TEN - OK

This might be the world’s comfiest supermini. The work of Citroen Advanced Comfort, this C4 Cactus prototype gets comfier seats and a much stiffer chassis, which means the suspension can do its job more effectively without the body flexing like a lilo on a choppy swimming pool.

In a nod to the classic DS’s suspension you have a regular damper and spring, but also a second chamber into which hydraulic fluid is forced to smooth out the movement. The result: a better ride and Citroen back to its roly-poly best. Give it two years before you can buy one.

Like a C4 but much more comfortable. Which is nice
