Forty years young, Grease is still the word, only made more adorable by clunky dialogue, so-so direction and mahogany acting by a bunch of thirtysomething teens. Who couldn’t be hopelessly devoted to this nostalgic throwback to the beach movies of the ’50s, as snake-hipped John Travolta and tight-zipped Olivia Newton-John find love via the medium of (superb) song and (dodgy) dance? A kitsch classic.
