The bizarre premise of this fantasy drama based on David Levithan’s YA bestseller sees 16-year-old Rhiannon (Angourie Rice) fall in love with ‘A’ (Owen Teague and, unbelievably, 14 others), a spirit that inhabits a new body every 24 hours. Will the two make it work? Full of inconsistencies and well-worn tropes, this paranormal romcom is sugary sweet. Fun if you’re in the mood but, otherwise, it’ll make you queasy.
