Martin announces Ed Sheeran Divide signature model

By now we know the drill; Ed Sheeran releases a new album, it goes platinum faster than a Rusty Cooley legato run, and Martin releases a special signature model for it.

And here it is: the third signature edition for the singersongwriter. The ÷ / Divide (£649) model follows in the wake of the previous Plus and X models, continuing with the Little Martin shape, mahogany pattern HPL back and sides, spruce top and a laser engraved album symbol on the body shoulder. The blue of the headstock, Divide symbol ’board inlays and rosette also echoes the massively popular album’s sleeve art colour scheme.

This plucky little strummer is gig-ready too with Fishman’s low-key Sonitone electronics (volume and tone controls are found inside the soundhole) and a gigbag included too. The Ed Sheeran ÷ Signature Edition will be available later this year, with left-handed models too.
