MERMAIDS AT REEF HQ
Magical mermaids have swum all the way through the Great Barrier Reef to Reef HQ to share their mermaid tales with Townsville boys and girls. Mermaid Cora, Mermaid Cheili, Mermaid Jess and Mermaid Amelia will make a splash in Townsville from Monday to Sunday next week, with meet-and-greets and mermaid shows for all ages to enjoy. LEGENDS OF THE DINOSAURS
The Museum of Tropical Queensland’s Dino Descendants school holiday program kicks off on Saturday, with a large skeleton dig pit, interactive fossil touch tables, dinosaur craft and a mini dinosaur trail through the museum among the highlights. Budding dino lovers can embark on an interactive, musical and scientific adventure with renowned singing palaeontologist, Professor Flint. This interactive theatrical event is the perfect way to get young actors out of the house these school holidays. Presented by Townsville Little Theatre, Play Box is a family-friendly collection of stories and songs aimed at children aged 2-12. The short plays are based on fairytales and full of songs and interactivity for audiences young and old.
