IN THE PINK

Townsville Bulletin - Townsville Eye - - Wellness -

The colour of your medicine changes your perception of it. So while a pink tablet will seem sweet, a white one will “taste” bitter. Similarly you get a greater mood bosting effect from an antidepressant that’s yellow, while blue or green sleeping tablets are said to help you fall asleep faster. Also skipping even one day of medication does matter. “Taking medication every day keeps medication at a constant level. If you skip a day, that level might drop drastically and take several days to come back to normal,” says Amcal senior pharmacist James Nevile. This may see your symptoms come back, so be careful.
