YUMMY DOG FRIES
If you are looking for a recipe that both you and your fur baby can enjoy together, this recipe fits the bill! While you might like to tuck into these yummy fries while they are hot, just remember to let them cool before sharing any with your pupper.
1 large sweet potato 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted Spices – Tumeric and Cinnamon
Preheat oven to 220C and line an oven tray with baking paper. Wash and peel the sweet potato. Cut the sweet potato into evenly sized long skinny (fry shaped) pieces. Using a Ziploc bag or large bowl, coat the sweet potato strips with the oil and spices. Place the coated fries on the prepared baking tray in a single layer. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, then turn the fries over and continue baking for another 10-15 minutes. Let cool before giving any to your dog.
