Still strong

Townsville Bulletin - - Weekend Extra -

of the people of Innisfail and surrounding regions is wonderful to see. As our report today highlights, they have come through a serious challenge to their lives and lifestyles with flying colours — even to the extent of increasing the numbers of the next generation. Cyclone Larry was nothing to sneeze at and the devastation the category five storm wreaked on the region’s people, economy and infrastructure will no doubt take many more years to repair. But the people of Innisfail are taking it all in their stride and they seem to be doing what’s best for themselves in the aftermath of such a tragedy — looking to the future. Everyone at the

wishes them and their families — as we do all of our readers, advertisers, suppliers and supporters across the North — only good things for 2007. We hope you enjoy a peaceful, happy Christmas with loved ones and a relaxing holiday break.
