A selection of comments from our website

Townsville Bulletin - - Weekend Extra -

From: Simone Roberts Comment: RE: Skatepark erupts. I’m the sister of one the boys that was attacked that night. It wasn’t just an outburst of rage, they were also slanging racial comments to us. They must feel like real ‘heroes’ trying to bash a pregnant woman, or females period. If anything, I feel sorry for them and their parents. I really do hope karma kicks in. From: Jaki Rogers Comment: Re: Charity bins. To help solve this problem, could the waste disposal companies donate a large bin beside the charity bins, similar to those used by the fishermen at the ramp? I’m sure they could include them easily on their rounds. From: Dr Will Hattingh Comment: I am managing the Townsville Ocean Terminal Project for City Pacific. City Pacific is heavily committed to the future of Townsville and it is hard for me to understand why we were not offered an opportunity to comment, fund or sponsor the proposed V8 event. From: Robert Commandeur Comment: RE: Doomadgee case. What’s the point of being called ‘leader’? I am disgusted, just like many other fellow Australians, at the lack of justice in this case. If Mr Beattie is called a leader, then why doesn’t he exercise his right to act as one?
