Company ploy?

Townsville Bulletin - - Talk Of North -

ONE hundred and fifty people will be out of work if Teys Brothers fails to open its Innisfail abattoir next year. Despite the company saying it is considering its options and could open early in the year, industry insiders say the works will not open. The company is citing a skilled labour shortage for the uncertainty. Kennedy MP Bob Katter smells a rat and says it all might be a ploy to import foreign workers on lower pay rates into Aussie jobs.
