Rain to stay
LAST night’s rainy conditions should continue around the region over the coming days.
Townsville Weather Bureau forecaster Andrew Cearns said rain would continue to fall around the region until the new year.
‘‘We’re looking at a bit of increase in rain for tomorrow (Thursday).
‘‘There may be a few good falls around but there are also isolated thunder storms around, offering a few millimetres here and there,’’ Mr Cearns said.‘‘There should be patchy rain over the next few days.’’
He said about 20mm of rain would fall over the next three days.
