Minor injuries for motorcyclist after collision
A MOTORCYCLE ended up stuck under a 4WD after the vehicles collided in the Castletown Shoppingworld car park yesterday.
The motorcyclist, aged in his late 30s, was knocked from the bike but escaped with only minor injuries.
The accident happened about 5.35pm in front of the Woolworths service station car park.
It appeared the motorbike was leaving the underground carpark when the vehicles collided.
The 4WD’s front tyre had to be jacked to retrieve the brand new Yahama motorbike from underneath the car’s front wheels.
A Queensland Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said fuel had been reported to be leaking from the bike, but on arrival none was detected.
