Refunds for cricket fans
ALMOST 50,000 cricket fans will be refunded after Australia annihilated England in the first three days of the Boxing Day Test.
Cricket authorities yesterday announced fans with tickets to day four of the Test were eligible for full refunds, minus a $2.50 administration fee.
About 47,000 tickets were pre-sold to today’s fourth day of the Test, with 244,351 fans packing the MCGover the first three days.
Tickets to day five had yet to go on sale.
Refunds will be available from 8am next Tuesday, excluding complimentary and corporate ticket holders.
Fans have 30 days from today to make a refund claim.
